until recently, I was unaware that you could text chat privately with someone with ventrilo. they are just as fussy on vipconduit.com about people typing text in their voice chat rooms as for the people. Anyway, someone was telling me the comment button was for typing text in. By default, it's set for silent comment, but if you uncheck it, it goes public, and which is weirder, if someone sends a text message, it doesn't justgo to the room they're in, but to everyone on the server, even if they're in a different room. If the send silent box is checked, and you type text, do you have the option to send it to just one person? I'm afraid to experiment with it while in a room on vipconduit, because I just got my supporting member privileges, and don't want to be banned just yet, in case a moderator comes in and catches me sending text. I thought about seeing if I could experimenting with it here on the zone, in the lobby, but I don't think I have the latest version for the site. vipconduit use version 2.30, and that's where I got it from. I can't fvoice chat on here, but I should be able to text chat in the lobby, just enough to check this out, if I have the right version.
